Mesotron raises pre-seed funding for wearable brain-computer interface
Incubate Fund backed the Japanese developer as it advances EEG hardware, neural-decoding AI and a silent-speech demonstration.
Mesotron has raised pre-seed equity from Incubate Fund, the company announced on August 24, 2026. The financing amount was not disclosed.
Funding the next stage
The proceeds will support development of a high-sensitivity EEG prototype and AI for decoding brain signals. Mesotron is working toward a wearable brain-computer interface, with a silent-speech experience among its development goals.
The company plans to collect 10,000 hours of EEG data across research sites in Japan and the United States. It will also recruit research and business-development staff and strengthen the team preparing a demonstration of its decoding technology.
Mesotron’s approach combines external brain-signal measurement with software that interprets those signals. The funding supports the hardware, data collection and model-development work needed to move that research toward practical interaction.
