Music AI secures $30m in new capital within $40m Series A deal

Connect Ventures, the CAA/NEA partnership, and Monashees co-lead a financing package that also includes $10 million in secondary transactions.

Music AI announced its Series A on January 22, 2025. Music Business Worldwide reported a $30 million primary investment alongside a $10 million secondary component; the company presented the combined transaction as a $40 million round.

The financing brought entertainment-industry investor Connect Ventures together with returning backer Monashees. Participants included Kickstart, Samsung Next, Toba Capital, Valutia, Pelion Venture Partners and Mindset Ventures, as well as individual music-industry investors.

At the announcement, Music AI said its Moises app had reached 50 million registered users. Alongside that consumer business, the company was expanding tools for commercial audio workflows and preparing real-time separation of musical parts directly on devices.
