VEIR raises $110 million Series C for superconducting data center power

Matter Venture Partners and Tyche Partners co-lead the round as VEIR moves toward commercial deployment.

VEIR closed a $110 million Series C on October 8, 2026, co-led by Matter Venture Partners and Tyche Partners. The financing brings its total capital raised to $225 million.

LG Technology Ventures, Gates Frontier, Sabanci Climate Ventures and Hui Capital participated, alongside returning investors Engine Ventures, Galvanize Climate Solutions, Piva Capital, Congruent Ventures and VXI Capital.

The company has demonstrated a 3-megawatt superconducting power delivery system and is working with customers and partners on AI-factory reference designs and initial commercial installations. That puts the next phase of development around turning validated technology into repeatable deployments.

VEIR combines superconducting cables with cooling, controls and monitoring to deliver electricity through a smaller footprint. The approach targets data centers where rising AI power requirements put pressure on conventional copper infrastructure.
