Planeto raises SEK2m to launch Quizima applications
Three private investors backed the Malmö quiz-game studio as it worked toward break-even.
Swedish game developer Planeto AB raised SEK2 million from three private individuals, CEO Sara Sterner told Rapidus in a report published on March 20, 2017.
The capital was intended to support the rollout of the studio’s first Quizima applications before it reached break-even. Quizima generated revenue for the company, Sterner said.
The investors would remain passive shareholders. Sterner declined to disclose their names. No funding stage or valuation was announced.
Mobile quizzes for media brands
Based in Malmö, Planeto developed quiz games and knowledge-based applications. Its earlier work with Bonnier Publications included Science Illustrated Quiz Battle.
