Planeto secures SEK2m from Sydsvensk Entreprenörsfond
The Malmö game studio becomes the regional investment fund’s first portfolio company.
Sydsvensk Entreprenörsfond invested SEK2 million in Planeto, the Malmö game developer founded by Martin Walfisz. Sydsvenskan reported the investment on December 19, 2009, saying the fund had made its first investment the previous day.
Planeto develops quiz and knowledge games. Walfisz previously founded Massive Entertainment, the Swedish game studio behind Ground Control and World in Conflict. The backing puts Planeto among the early investments of the regional fund, which supports companies in Skåne and Blekinge.
