GembaHub raises ¥70m to expand construction AI tools
Firstlight Capital and D4V joined an unnamed corporate investor in the financing as the construction-software company develops AI agents.
GembaHub has raised ¥70 million from an unnamed new corporate investor and existing backers Firstlight Capital and D4V. The company announced the financing on August 24, 2026.
Funding the next stage
The investment will strengthen development of AI agents and connections between AI tools and its construction-workflow platform. GembaHub is building around administrative tasks that remain fragmented across project records, reports and invoices.
Alongside the financing, the company released an AI payment-management function that reads invoice PDFs and images, organizes payment information and links line items to the relevant project’s costs.
GembaHub said its cumulative funding had reached approximately ¥340 million. The current ¥70 million investment supports the next stage of product development as construction businesses face labour shortages and pressure to reduce administrative work.
