Coherence Neuro raises $10m seed for first human trial
Artesian and Topology Ventures co-led financing for the company’s investigational cancer neurotechnology.
Coherence Neuro announced a $10 million seed round on November 3, 2025, co-led by Artesian and Topology Ventures. Returning backers Blackbird and Possible Ventures joined XEIA Venture Partners, Jumpspace Ventures, Xtal, Divergent Capital, SmartGateVC, Spacewalk VC and angel investors.
The financing supports the first human trial of SOMA-1, an investigational system designed to record electrical activity and deliver stimulation around a brain tumor. A wireless implant connects to an over-ear unit providing power and memory, with an app for monitoring. Founders Ben Woodington and Elise Jenkins aim to use these signals to develop cancer treatment that adapts over time.
