Aria secures €50 million debt financing from M&G Investments

The asset-backed financing expands invoice funding for freelancers and SMEs.

New capacity for embedded invoice financing

Aria announced €50 million in new debt financing from M&G Investments on March 7, 2023. The transaction is a private bilateral asset-backed securitisation backed by M&G structured credit funds.

The financing is additional to €20 million secured in 2022. It expands the capital available to fund invoices for freelancers and small businesses.

Financing through business platforms

Aria integrates its service through an API into B2B marketplaces and vertical software platforms, allowing suppliers to receive payment promptly while customers retain payment terms.

The company plans to expand into more business segments and scale its credit activities across Europe. The debt supports invoice funding alongside the technology and operations needed to deliver the service.
