TeRAM raises $37m to validate 3D SRAM and build its engineering team
Primary, B Capital, Hyperion and SemiAnalysis Capital led the financing for memory chips targeting initial customer production in 2029.
TeRAM raised $37 million in funding led by Primary, B Capital, Hyperion and SemiAnalysis Capital. Alumni Ventures and Lightscape Partners participated.
The company will validate its technology and scale the team developing customised 3D SRAM for initial data-centre customers. It targets first customer production in 2029, so the financing advances a development programme rather than commercially deployed memory.
TeRAM stacks SRAM directly onto AI compute chips to increase memory bandwidth and capacity while reducing data-movement power demands.
