Stoke Space announces initial closing of $1 billion Series E
The financing will scale production and flight frequency for Nova while supporting a larger second-generation vehicle and operating infrastructure.
Point72 Ventures and Spark Capital co-led the financing. General Innovation, Glade Brook Capital, US Innovative Technology, Washington Harbour Partners, Woven Capital and Y Combinator also participated.
The funding supports preparations for Nova Pathfinder’s first orbital flight, expanded production and launch capacity, and development of the larger Nova Block 2 vehicle. Stoke says the Series E brings its total capital raised to $2.3 billion.
Stoke is developing reusable first and second stages, with an actively cooled upper stage designed to survive atmospheric re-entry. The company is targeting Pathfinder’s first flight in early 2027.
