Rune raises $40m Series A, bringing funding to $53.5m
Spark Capital led the round for modular compute deployment at renewable-energy sites.
Union Square Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, Activate Capital, Committed Capital, Timeless Partners and Logos Fund also participated.
Rune plans to expand its pipeline of power partnerships and compute customers.
The company reports live installations across three continents, including at a 200 MW solar facility in Texas, more than 40,000 operating hours and 80 MW of contracted power. Those deployments provide a base for further power-site partnerships.
