A modular clean-compute platform that deploys GPU clusters at renewable-energy sites without building a conventional data center.

Putting compute beside renewable generation

Rune combines modular compute infrastructure with power electronics to install GPU clusters directly at solar-generation sites. The system connects to the plant’s 1,500-volt DC bus, avoiding the transformer-heavy, construction-intensive setup of a conventional data center and allowing deployments on a weeks-long timetable, according to the company.

Energy producers can monetize generation capacity with computing workloads, while compute customers access bare-metal GPU capacity in clusters sized from 8 to 1,024 GPUs. Rune says the platform is operating across three continents and reports more than 40,000 fleet operating hours and 80 MW of contracted power. Its model links the location of compute to available renewable power rather than relying solely on centralized data-center construction.
