Ravel raises $8.2m seed for commercial-scale recycling
One Small Planet led the financing to move Ravel beyond its Seattle pilot plant.
Overlay Capital, Lichen Ventures, AP Ventures, At One Ventures, Collateral Good and Betterway Ventures also participated.
Ravel plans to accelerate commercial readiness and expand its textile-to-textile purification process into commercial operations.
The pilot targets difficult blended fabrics, including poly-elastane mixtures, that conventional recycling often cannot return to new textiles.
