Precision Neuroscience raises $250m Series D for its clinical programme
Pershing Square and the Ackman Oxman Institute co-led the financing alongside a life-sciences fund as Precision builds its clinical and commercial infrastructure.
Expanding the clinical programme and preparing for wider use
Precision Neuroscience announced the close of its $250 million Series D on 24 September 2026. The company reports completing more than 100 patient procedures across 18 medical institutions.
Pershing Square Inc., the Ackman Oxman Institute and an undisclosed life-sciences investment fund co-led the round. Precision is developing a minimally invasive, removable brain–computer interface intended to let people with paralysis operate digital devices.
Layer 7 has received FDA clearance as a cortical interface. The broader implanted system remains under development; the company’s clinical and regulatory work is separate from a general commercial rollout.
