Develops a brain-computer interface intended to help people with paralysis operate digital devices.

A removable connection to the brain

Precision Neuroscience is developing Layer 7, a high-bandwidth cortical interface designed to connect brain signals with digital devices. Its first intended application is helping people with paralysis control computers through thought, using an interface designed for removal and later upgrades.

The company has obtained FDA clearance for its cortical interface and conducts clinical studies with hospital partners. The broader brain-computer interface remains investigational; its development programme is working toward practical use beyond the operating-room demonstrations.
