Polyphron raises $20m seed to add liver tissue models
Quiet Capital led the financing, with Gradient Ventures, Haystack and Compound participating.
Polyphron plans to expand production from cardiac to liver tissue and build a physical and simulated foundation for testing therapeutic hypotheses.
Its Tissue Foundry grows stem-cell-derived human micro-tissues and measures responses to controlled experiments. Those results provide training and verification data for the Tissue World Model, which remains in development.
