OllyGarden raises $4M to improve telemetry at the source
The seed financing accompanies a new capability that helps teams establish a baseline for OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
OllyGarden announced a $4 million seed round on October 9, 2026. Next Frontier Capital, Grand Ventures and ACTAI Ventures backed the financing, alongside returning investor DIG Ventures and strategic investors Datadog, Grafana Labs and Dash0.
The Berlin company will use the capital to develop its telemetry quality platform. Alongside the raise, it introduced Minimum Viable Instrumentation for Rose, its AI OpenTelemetry engineer. The capability helps teams identify missing instrumentation and establish a useful starting point.
The product expansion moves Rose beyond assessing existing instrumentation toward helping engineers decide where it needs to be added. OllyGarden is targeting the source of poor monitoring data as growing software and AI workloads increase the volume that observability systems must handle.
