Impress signs €40 million EIB venture-debt loan

The financing supports Impress’s clinical AI platform and expansion into northern European orthodontics markets.

Impress has signed a €40 million venture-debt loan with the European Investment Bank to develop its clinical artificial intelligence platform and expand its digital orthodontics network. The financing was announced on October 27, 2026 and is backed by the InvestEU programme.

Scaling treatment software and European expansion

The Barcelona company plans to increase investment in technology used for patient scanning, treatment planning and continuing monitoring. It is targeting growth in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom after building its presence in southern Europe.

The loan adds financing for this expansion while Impress develops the software used across its clinic network. Its digital model combines in-person orthodontic care with app-based follow-up, giving clinicians a shared system for planning and monitoring treatment.
