Antogen closes seed financing led by iGrow Venture Partners
Antogen raises undisclosed seed financing to develop immune-surveillance technology, building on commercial contract research work.
Financing follows early commercial work
Life sciences company Antogen announced the closing on June 9. iGrow Venture Partners led the round, joined by a group of life sciences angel investors. The company disclosed neither the amount raised nor the angels' individual identities.
Antogen reported early commercial traction through contract research services. The financing supports development of its proteomics platform, machine-learning models and biological datasets, as well as expansion of its scientific and operating team.
An experienced diagnostics founder
Founder Zachary Antovich previously founded and led Linkage Biosciences, which developed a global diagnostics business before its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific. Antogen is applying that experience to immune-monitoring research and diagnostic development.
