Amyl Therapeutics secures €8.25m extension combining private capital and grants
The mixed financing supports preclinical validation, a manufacturing-ready candidate and expansion of the Liège research operation.
Private financing alongside public grants
Amyl Therapeutics announced an €8.25 million Series A extension on September 1, 2026. Half of the financing comes from public grants and half from private investors, including undisclosed family offices and angels alongside existing shareholders. Noshaq and Mérieux Equity Partners are named among the backers. The company put lifetime funding at €27.85 million, including earlier grants and in-kind intellectual-property contributions.
A larger research operation before clinical development
The financing will support the remaining preclinical in-vivo efficacy and safety work and preparation of a candidate for GMP manufacturing. Amyl also plans to expand its LegiaPark laboratory space and double its research-and-development team. One new lead family-office investor will join the board; its identity was not disclosed.
