Advancing Analytics will expand work on Genie, Lakebase, Unity Catalog and Lakehouse capabilities. The announcement identifies it as the first UK-headquartered consultancy backed by Databricks Ventures.

Funding will support frameworks, specialist hiring and international growth. The amount was undisclosed. This is a separate event from the Lead Edge investment announced in June.
