New Leaf Venture Partners led Abcuro’s $66m Series D, with existing backers and new investor Rock Springs Capital participating.
The financing supports a potentially registrational study expected to start in Q4 2026, with results planned for the second half of 2028. The previous MUSCLE study did not show statistically significant results overall; a predefined subgroup with less severe disease showed a slowing trend that informed the new trial’s patient selection.
