Aavuus secures pre-seed backing from Maki.vc for orbital tracking

The undisclosed financing supports a first minimum viable product and performance demonstrations with early customers.

Moving from development to demonstration

Maki.vc invested in Aavuus’s pre-seed round; the June announcement did not disclose an amount.

CEO Joonas Jokela said the capital would move the company into building its first minimum viable product, proving performance and working with early customers. Aavuus also appointed former US Army aerospace defence officer Brian Dunne as chief commercial officer, adding experience relevant to defence customers.
