Point Nine leads the financing as Aardaia prepares to increase the number of plant genotypes it can screen.
Expanding the breeding pipeline
Point Nine led Aardaia’s €5m seed round, joined by existing investor FoodLabs, Astanor, Grey Silo and angel investors.
The company expects to screen 750,000 genotypes in 2026 and plans to use the financing to increase capacity to two million. That expansion supports selection and testing of new crop varieties; those figures describe the company’s planned screening scale.
