Poseidon Aerospace is developing unmanned cargo aircraft for commercial freight and defense logistics. Its Egret short-takeoff-and-landing freighter and Heron seaplane are designed to move heavy loads between small, remote or water-based operating sites without an onboard pilot.

Move heavy cargo without relying on long runways

Poseidon is developing two unmanned aircraft for cargo missions. Egret is a fixed-wing freighter built for short takeoff and landing from dispersed airstrips; Heron is a seaplane intended to operate from water, remote coastlines and austere locations. The aircraft can be operated autonomously or by remote control, with designs focused on payload capacity and access where conventional cargo aircraft or runways are impractical.

The company targets commercial cargo operators and defense logistics users. The programs are in development, with the seed financing supporting aircraft development and manufacturing; Poseidon announced plans for flight testing after the round. Its offering is purpose-built transport hardware rather than a software-only logistics platform.
