A robotics company developing repairable, modular humanoids for repetitive work in factories, warehouses and industrial sites.

A humanoid built to be reconfigured and repaired

O-ID is developing a humanoid robot built around replaceable modules, so components can be customized or swapped during servicing. Its announced use cases include case picking and transfer in warehouses, repetitive assembly and line-side handling in factories, and inspection in hazardous or confined industrial areas.

The company is still advancing its prototype, with factory pilots planned for 2027. Its modular design addresses a practical deployment constraint for industrial robots: keeping machines in service and adapting them to different tasks as operating needs change.
