MCatalysis develops modular microwave-driven catalytic refining systems that convert distributed hydrocarbon feedstocks, including waste carbon, into drop-in liquid fuels and chemical products for industrial buyers.

Modular conversion of existing carbon feedstocks

MCatalysis combines microwave-driven catalysts and proprietary materials to process feedstocks such as off-gas, waste plastics and biomass into liquid fuels. Its intended customers include refiners, chemical producers and feedstock managers that can site small refining units near available materials.

The company is developing a distributed refining model in which modular plants convert local feedstocks into drop-in products compatible with existing fuel and chemical markets. At the time of the September 2026 seed announcement, it was continuing R&D in London and planning an industrial pilot at Axel One in Lyon.
