Jinja Bukkaku Online connects Japanese temples and shrines with audiences, businesses and cultural-product projects.
Connecting cultural institutions and audiences
Jinja Bukkaku Online began in 2020 with a YouTube channel introducing Buddhist priests and Shinto practitioners through interviews. It develops services that connect temples and shrines with companies and individuals.
Cultural products with temple partners
The Kyoto company collaborates with Web-Design.LINK on SAMGHA, an apparel brand based on actual temple collections, historical documents and religious artwork. The partners digitize source materials and adapt them for products such as printed clothing and bags.
The project returns part of product sales to participating temples, linking commercial product development with support for maintaining cultural collections.
