Cornerstone Robotics develops Sentire, a multi-port endoscopic surgical robot. The system combines a patient-side robot with four arms, a surgeon console and a vision cart so a surgical team can control instruments and view the operative field during minimally invasive procedures. Sentire has completed clinical trials and received medical-device approvals in China, the European Union and Singapore, covering several surgical specialties.
Hospitals and operating-room teams use Sentire to perform endoscopic procedures with robotic instrument control and visualization. The system integrates hardware, control software, algorithms, imaging and energy platforms; the company is building a broader surgical-robotics platform and is partnering with Medtronic to expand access in approved markets. Cornerstone is headquartered in Hong Kong.
