Branch Energy's Arc system combines an industrial battery, grid-connection equipment and cloud software for warehouses, hotels, factories and retail sites. The company installs and operates the equipment, so building owners can access on-site energy capacity without paying the full system cost upfront.
Managed storage and resilience
Arc connects to the building and grid, with controls managing battery operation to provide backup power and respond to electricity costs and site needs. Branch reports operating commercial sites in Texas and plans to expand into Illinois and the PJM region, where its software manages deployed systems as a distributed energy resource.
