Product
Arctic Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company translating genetic discoveries into drug-development programmes. Its pipeline spans dementia, autoimmune disease and inflammatory skin conditions, with research and clinical activity across Iceland, the United States and Europe.
The company’s lead programmes include AT-001, an investigational oral treatment studied in inherited amyloid disease and Alzheimer’s disease, and AT-004, which targets an inflammatory pathway in skin. Additional programmes AT-002 and AT-003 are being advanced toward clinical development.
Established in 2015 as a spin-off from the Center for Applied Genomics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Arctic Therapeutics combines human-genetics research with drug development. Founder Hakon Hakonarson and co-founder and CEO Ivar Hakonarson lead its scientific and operating work.
