AMI Labs develops world models that learn representations of sensor data to support prediction, memory and action planning.
Models that anticipate physical consequences
AMI Labs is an AI research company developing world models for systems that interact with the physical world. Rather than reconstruct every unpredictable detail of sensor input, its approach learns abstract representations and predicts how those representations change. Action-conditioned models are intended to help a system anticipate consequences and plan a sequence of actions.
Research and industrial applications
The company targets applications including industrial process control, automation, robotics, wearable devices and healthcare, where reliable behavior and control matter. It combines research with work involving industry and product partners and says it will share research through publications and open source. Its locations include Paris, New York, Montreal and Singapore.
