Coinbase Ventures backs founders at the earliest stages of building crypto and Web3 businesses, investing across the infrastructure and applications of the cryptoeconomy.
Its scope includes layer-one protocols, developer tools, Web3 infrastructure, centralised on-ramps and decentralised finance. The mandate therefore covers both the systems needed to run crypto networks and the products that bring users and capital into them.
