Wordsmith adds $14 million to its Series B
Intact Private Capital leads the extension, with Highland Europe and Index Ventures participating.
Legal work inside the enterprise
FT Ventures has also become a shareholder. The Financial Times uses Wordsmith in its own legal department, linking the investment to an existing customer relationship.
Wordsmith builds software for in-house legal teams: requests arrive from across the business, AI agents handle routine steps, and lawyers review work that requires judgement. The company says more than 500 businesses were using the platform at the announcement.
