Web-Design.LINK obtains ¥2m loan for SAMGHA apparel project
Japan Finance Corporation provided the loan as the design company and its partner develop products based on Japanese temple materials.
Web-Design.LINK has received a ¥2 million loan from Japan Finance Corporation to support the SAMGHA apparel project, according to an issuer announcement dated August 29, 2026.
How the funding will be used
The design company will use the financing to develop products and strengthen marketing and promotional activity. SAMGHA adapts historical materials held by temples into apparel and lifestyle designs, with part of sales proceeds returned to participating temples.
Web-Design.LINK operates the project with Jinja Bukkaku Online, which separately received approval for a small-business subsidy of up to ¥1 million. The partners described a combined funding base of approximately ¥3 million, with the loan and subsidy allocated to the two different companies.
The project’s expansion plans include more product designs, domestic and overseas ecommerce marketing, and partnerships with additional temples. Its model links commercial product development with a revenue stream intended to help preserve cultural materials.
