Watney Robotics raised $80 million in Series A funding led by Hummingbird Ventures, with Abstract, Conviction and A* participating.

Meta is testing Watney's dual-arm robots alongside ABB and Kinova hardware in live data centres in Iowa and Ohio. The financing backs development of robots for building and maintaining that infrastructure.
