VISION IV receives grant for semiconductor-grade diamond substrates
The project advances high-quality single-crystal diamond materials and production technology.
VISION IV has been awarded research support by the Mitsubishi UFJ Technology Development Foundation for commercialising high-quality diamond substrates for next-generation semiconductors.
The company says the project will advance single-crystal material development and manufacturing methods for power-semiconductor and quantum-sensor applications. It builds on VISION IV’s existing diamond synthesis and processing work, including electrode-integrated anvils used in materials research.
