Vecna Robotics raises $31m to scale deployment and case-handling capabilities
Pivotal software coordinates robots and work tasks as operations change.
Vecna Robotics raised $31 million in funding led by Unless, with Highland Capital Partners, Drive Capital, Tectonic Ventures and Tiger Global participating.
The company plans to scale deployment teams, expand go-to-market activity and develop additional case- and pallet-movement capabilities. It reports that demand for CaseFlow more than doubled year over year.
Vecna builds and supports robots from Massachusetts. Its pallet jacks, forklifts and tuggers work with Pivotal orchestration software, while CaseFlow coordinates robots and associates in case-picking workflows.
