Upwind raises about $300m at a $3.8bn valuation to scale cloud security
The runtime-first platform will expand as enterprises seek protection across cloud workloads, identities and active threats.
Security built around live cloud activity
Upwind’s cloud security platform combines configuration analysis with live telemetry from cloud and container environments. It maps identity permissions, prioritizes vulnerabilities that attackers can exploit and helps security teams detect and isolate active threats across infrastructure.
CTech reported approximately $300 million in financing on September 2 at a roughly $3.8 billion valuation. Bessemer Venture Partners and TCV led, with Craft Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Greylock, Cyberstarts, Leaders Fund and Alta Park Capital participating. The financing follows the company’s $250 million Series B in January and a subsequent Salesforce investment.
