TwoStep Therapeutics raises $62.5m Series A for TS-104 and its cancer pipeline
Its targeting peptide binds five integrins and can carry different treatment payloads.
TwoStep Therapeutics raised $62.5 million in Series A financing, bringing cumulative funding to $71.2 million. Recorded backers include Insight Partners, Medical Excellence Capital, NFX, M Ventures, Pfizer Ventures, 2048 Ventures and Stanford University.
The company plans to advance lead peptide-drug conjugate TS-104 into Phase 1 oncology development, advance its radioligand programme and expand the peptide-conjugate pipeline.
Its polyspecific integrin-binding peptide recognises five tumour-associated integrins and can carry different treatment payloads. TS-104 links it to MMAE; the platform also supports radioligand approaches.
