Tickets for Good raises £3.9M to take low-cost event access to more markets

The expansion round will grow the Sheffield team's capacity as the platform connects verified community groups with event tickets that might otherwise go unused.

Tickets for Good raised £3.9 million in a round led by Mercia Ventures through NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance. Shaping Impact Group, Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare and private investors also participated.

The platform distributes surplus event tickets to verified NHS staff, teachers, charity workers and other eligible groups. Members pay a nominal transaction fee, while venues fill spare capacity. Funding will support international expansion and hiring in Sheffield, building on operations in the US and continental Europe.
