Theater announces INR75 crore Series A for offline retail expansion

Niveshaay Sambhav Fund led the financing with an INR48 crore investment.

Theater announced an INR75 crore Series A in September 2026, led by Niveshaay Sambhav Fund. Physis Capital and existing backer Prath Ventures participated. The financing also included FirstPort Capital, Skagen Ventures, Saket Agarwal, Vishal Julka and IPV International.

Niveshaay’s own announcement identifies an INR48 crore commitment through its Sambhav Fund within the INR75 crore round. Earlier regulatory reporting covered an INR56.25 crore share allotment; the broader company announcement and lead investor statement give the larger financing total.

Theater previously raised a $1.5 million pre-Series A led by Prath Ventures in September 2024. The new capital supports a move from its digital fashion business toward a wider physical retail presence.
