TERASi raises €11m seed to scale tactical wireless deployment
NATO Innovation Fund and JOIN Capital co-led the round for its AirCore millimetre-wave communications systems.
TERASi raised €11 million in seed funding co-led by NATO Innovation Fund and JOIN Capital. In-Q-Tel, D3, Navigare Ventures, Almi Invest, STING, Onsight Ventures, Further Than Capital and KTH Ventures participated.
The Swedish KTH spinout plans to scale deployment and its engineering team. Its compact AirCore hardware creates directional wireless links for defence and security forces operating where fixed or satellite infrastructure may be unavailable.
The issuer identifies the financing as seed funding. The systems are designed to resist detection and jamming in contested environments.
