Hatem Dowidar backs Tactful AI’s pre-Series A extension
The customer-experience software company adds the former e& chief as an investor ahead of its next platform release.
Hatem Dowidar has invested personally in Tactful AI as an extension to the pre-Series A first announced in February. The original close raised $1 million; the October investment adds an undisclosed amount. Foras AI and M Empire co-led the initial financing.
The next product release centres on helping enterprises build and change customer-service workflows with governed AI agents. Tactful says those changes should take hours rather than months, with people retaining approval over each step. It plans to disclose more technical details in the coming months.
Dowidar led e& until March 2026 and previously held senior roles at Vodafone. His investment comes as Tactful prepares for a planned Series A in 2027.
