Slayd raises ₹1.5 crore pre-seed to expand engineering and its clothing supply chain
ajvc led the financing as the fashion-discovery startup develops Slayd Originals and invests in user acquisition.
Slayd raised ₹1.5 crore in pre-seed funding led by ajvc. The Gurugram startup will expand its product engineering and data science teams, scale the Slayd Originals supply chain and accelerate user acquisition.
The company reports more than 200,000 users and around 1,000 monthly orders, while its Originals clothing line is in beta. The financing connects growth of the discovery platform with the supply chain needed to turn demand signals into apparel.
Slayd aggregates clothing from marketplaces and brands. Its recommendation models use engagement, click-through and social signals to guide shopping recommendations and decisions about its own clothing designs.
