Seeds Fincap raises over $8.5 million Series A led by Z47 and Lok Capital
The July 2024 financing supports the lender’s expansion in India’s small-business credit market.
Matrix Partners India, now known as Z47, co-led the round with Lok Capital. Seeds Fincap reported a network of 90 branches across eight states and a loan book exceeding ₹330 crore at the time of the announcement.
The company had disbursed more than ₹600 crore in loans over three years and served over 50,000 customers. Its approach combines assessment of small businesses’ cash flows with local collections and risk management, while a separate group of lending partners supports its liability base.
