Scopia Surgical raises C$2.65m for first clinical validation
Linearis Ventures and Anges Québec co-led the pre-seed financing.
Fonds Impulsion, HaloHealth, Richard Rubin and Suresh Madan also participated.
Scopia plans to grow engineering and clinical teams, accelerate product development and begin validation in Canadian and US hospitals.
Its software-based surgical navigation remains pre-commercial. The financing advances clinical evaluation rather than establishing a validated surgical outcome.
