RunPilot receives £140,000 for product development
The University of Sheffield spinout models route options before costly projects are committed.
The funding followed a pitch to the University of Sheffield board. RunPilot was developed by university researchers Joseph Hammond and Thomas Cowley.
The company plans to develop software that compares infrastructure routes against engineering, environmental, societal and consenting constraints, helping teams test options before committing to designs.
