Rize secures SAR187.5m asset-backed Murabaha facility for rent payments
Jadwa Investment’s facility will finance Rize’s rental-contract portfolio, helping tenants pay annual rent monthly while landlords receive it upfront.
Funding the contracts behind monthly rent
Rize lets eligible tenants divide annual rent into 12 monthly payments while landlords receive the full amount upfront. Contracts are documented through Saudi Arabia’s Ejar system, and the company’s asset-backed Murabaha facility finances the rental-contract portfolio that makes this payment timing possible.
Jadwa Investment provided SAR187.5 million, reported by the company as approximately $50 million. Because the facility is tied to the rental contracts, Rize says it can preserve shareholder equity for product development, technology, talent, partnerships and expansion across Saudi Arabia.
