Reactive Technologies secures €19 million in EIB venture debt
GridVerix gives power operators real-time measurements of grid stability.
Measure grid stability in real time
GridVerix measures indicators including grid inertia and voltage strength across different parts of a power network. Operators can use that view to identify vulnerabilities as wind and solar generation and large loads such as data centres connect to the grid.
Funding research and deployment
The EIB financing allocates up to €7 million to research and development at Reactive Technologies’ Oulu centre and €12 million to deployment across the European Union. The company describes the facility as venture debt.
